OG Supermatic® 2026

Nidecker delivery is quick. I received my package in 4 days. At first, the Supermatic is hard to use when you’re in the snow, but the more you use it, the more you get used to it. I’m very happy with my order.

Bindings are easy to get in and out of this is pretty awesome. Snow build up is not an issue at all . Bindings are known to be heavy this was expected, but the huge rear hoops are great to rest the boar on while on a chair lift. The foot beds allow quite a bit of movement, this may go a way after some use. The rear of the binding does hang off the board and is a bit of a obstacle avoid while in the lift line. And adjusting the binding straps to find that sweet spot takes a bit more time with this model. All in All a very nice product for sure.

I’m on the wrong side of 40 and just trying to stay out there. I have been snowboarding for 3 decades and have hated dealing with bindings for all of them. I am tall and lanky and I have a hair trigger back that goes out if I sneeze funny. I read hundreds of review and watched dozens of videos on step on and rear entry bindings. My daughter has Burton Step one and loves them. I decided to give the Supermatic OGs a try and would go with Burton if they didn’t work out. When they first arrived I mounted them to my Ride Superpig Medium. Aside for looking really slick they seemed heavy and bulky. My first few attempts on carpet were awkward and I had some difficulty getting my back foot in. I think that my boots had something to do with the issues there. The Vans Infuse are pretty bulky boots and provided a (little too much) snug fit. The other issue I ran into was the to strap slipping down and having to adjust it each time. I messed with the straps several times in and was able to reduce but not eliminate the problem. I was pretty confident I could make it work and that anything had to be better than traditional bindings at this point. I took them up to Snowbowl in Arizona after a 3 day powder dump on the mountain. I got to the lift line and stepping in on the front foot was effortless. I was already psyched. The back foot needed some slight adjustments and if the surface isn’t totally flat it can be tricky. After getting off the lift for the first time I stepped right in and hit the run with bo delay. No bending over. No sitting down. Just stomping my boot in and going. Everything lined up perfectly and fit was snug but not tight. side note: the 3 clicks is very satisfying. I hit a long catwalk to a black diamond run then onto a blue and finally hit some moguls near the base. The bindings performed beautifully and felt amazing. The stability they provided more than made up for any weight issues. I proceeded to hit 6 or 7 more runs that day (old disabled vet, give me a break) and never had to touch the bindings again except to step out of them, which really wasn’t bad at all. Got a lot of questions about them, especially from other old dudes with “issues”. I couldn’t say enough good things about them. Worth every penny and gave me perhaps the best day I have ever had on a board. I love them. Buy them. You will never go back. My only complaint is that my Vans Infuse boots did not play as well as I hoped with the Supermatics. I would recommend a low profile boot which is probably what I will do. I’ll give up boots I love before giving up these bindings

Best money ever spent, especially if you spend time with skiers who like to complain how long boarders sit on their ass and strap in .. No More!

Responsive, secure, just the right amount of flex for all mountain riding. Never once worried about them coming open on side hits or being difficult in POW - best money ever spent!

Game Changer! First day out on the mountain it was a world of difference. Popped off the lift and stepped right into the binding while in motion to the opening run. Definitely increased the number of turns/hour dramatically. Wish I had bought them sooner.

Advertised as one and done step in bindings, but the auto lock LSR system springs iare too loose. You constantly need to play with the ratchet system to readust rear foot entry between runs. Apparently this is a known issue on reddit, and no amount of fine-tuning the center strap will fix this…
Oh and the gold markings started coming off after a single day of riding…poor quality choices from Nidecker, not what I expected from a once great boarding company

Nicely packaged on arrival. My initial impression is the OG Supermatics look super sick! A little on the heavy side but I suppose that’s to be expected for quality innovation. Looking forward to shredding with these new binders!

Videos say you cant realy step in while they are very tight. Half a day in the slope and it was already comfortable and quick to do!

I've been a pro snowboarder since 1992. Riding since 1984. Rode and developed every type of strap to step ins. These are the best period.

Little bit heavy but you do get used to it. The top strap is secured to a point that isn’t adjustable and that is a bit annoying. I would still buy these over and over again. They save so much time.

I have been snowboarding for 38 years, and I can still keep up with my boys. But after 38 years of strapping in before every single ride I needed the change. No more wasted energy doing abdominal exercises, no more wasted time, no more frozen butt and all that time and energy is spent shredding!!! I can board from 8:30 to 4 easy again like I did when I was 18!! I never realized how much energy I wasted!! I can only imagine I also saved myself from a few fatigue falls as well!! Thanks a million!!!

I like them! Not used them too much yet but they seems do worth the choice!
