Key Features

Shape and Profile

Shape and profile

Camber - Positive camber spring-loads the board tip to tail, maximizing edge contact and response. The industry standard for high performance models, it offers an unbeatable balance of stability, grip and pop.

Tech Details

  • Construction

    Premium Sandwich

A step up from our standard sandwich construction that adds carbon stringers for more pop, quicker edge response and improved shock absorption.

  • Topsheet

    Carbonid

A full-length carbon layer developed for our most high-performance boards. Located between the core and the topsheet, it delivers explosive power and response as well as increased stability at high speed.

  • Inserts

    4x2/6

6 rows of inserts at 2 cm intervals gives you maximum choice of stance width and works with any binding on the market.

  • Fiberglass

    Triax Plus

Fiberglass is woven in three directions at 45° for max stiffness. The result of extensive testing, Triax Plus uses different glass densities above and below the core to deliver more consistent torsional flex, better pop, and lightning response.

  • Core

    Master Core

Our Master Core is the culmination of decades of experimentation in materials and woodcraft. Two species of wood (poplar and paulownia) are combined to give the best of all worlds: light, strong and responsive.

  • Base

    N-9000 Sintered

A lightning quick sintered base made from super dense material with a high carbon content to minimise friction. Wax it on the regs for race-level performance.

Extras

  • Diecut Base

Pure-color base materials pieced together like a jigsaw for bold, crisp graphics.

  • Gloss Finish

Adds a premium deep shine to select board artwork.

  • Hot Stamp

A gold or silver graphic detail applied over the topsheet.

  • Overprint

Layered topsheet artwork that adds depth and texture to the graphic.

  • Translucent Color

A three-dimensional graphic using less ink to reveal more of the construction.

Great carving board

This is a great board. It carves exceptionally well and feels very confident edge-to-edge. The only thing I would change is sizing — I wish I had gone with the 162W instead of the 158 for a bigger side cut.

One thing worth mentioning: I wouldn’t fully follow the binding recommendation of using the Supermatic Carbon with this board. I tried them, but the large heel cup made it noticeably harder to get deep on the heelside during carves. After switching to the Flow NX2, the board felt much more natural and responsive on heelside turns.

Setup

Board: Blade Plus 158

Bindings: Flow NX2

Stance width: 56 cm

Angles: +36 / +27

Boots: Rift

Overall, an amazing carving-focused board — just be mindful of sizing and binding compatibility depending on your riding style.

The sport is insane

The sport is insane. Feels like a formula car on the snow. Must have in the quiver for groomer days. Crazy stiff and zero chatter.

Hey Michael,

The Blade Plus is definitely built for those deep groomer carves. Stoked it's giving you that zero-chatter confidence!

First day....

Finally got out on it today. Awesome edge hold, just gets better with speed. Can't wait to get it to some big, wide, steeper cord

Hi Seth!

We're thrilled to hear that you had an awesome first day on it and that the edge hold was top-notch. We agree, the more speed, the better it gets!

Happy shredding!

carving machine

As the title, it is a carving machine. It is super stable when you are riding at a high speed. The board finishing is also incredible.

Absolute dream

Rider: 5'8, 150lb
Board: 162W, 54cm stance width, +36 +27 angles
Style: resort carving

Took this board in 162W out on an empty morning for those resort turns. Paired with flow NX 2 carbons.

Wow it was amazing. The board is incredibly stable, and the extra length definitely adds to the stability. Board feels light and responsive so those short radius turns can whip around fast.

Switch riding feels quite nice on these as well, as the tail design allows for a bit of playfulness.

On the stiffer side so you'd need to work a bit for those presses, but can butter as well.

Mainly design for those low turns, and boy does this board do it well. You'll feel locked in as soon as the edge engages, and you can ride it out how you wish.

Not much torsional flex but shouldn't impact normal riding styles.

Can go with these for any sort of carving style, Japanese, Korean, surf, you name it.

Although not as damp as a Japanese hammer like the Gray Desperado, and not as custom as some of the softboot board brand, these will scratch your carving itch for sure!

Quite the board from a great mainstream brand!

Carving heaven on groomers

I bought a Blade Plus 162 in search for the ideal carving board and after tuning the edges to 87 without detuning in the tips it did not disappoint. With my size 26 boots and 45 frontfoot and 24 backfoot angles, i can lay down carves on both edges and even on steep, hard slopes it just holds - it's mind-blowing. I wish i could have a 2cm narrower stance as now i have to use my natural stance +2cm. Every day i ride this thing, people at the lift are amazed when they see i'm not wearing hard boots. However, you need to put in a lot of power to really, really carve this thing and at slower speeds it does not feel very lively, almost asleep, probably because it is so stiff and has virtually no torsional flex. It really shines in the early morning on perfect groomers but towards the afternoon when the slope gets chopped up and/or slushy, you better switch boards or go home - it's not fun with this board. I guess the blade (non plus) would be a better all-around carving board but this one is really balls to the walls on perfect groomers. So my search for the ideal carving board has ended for now. I will continue using it for reaching early morning carving heaven - hopefully for seasons to come.
