Altai W 2023

I need little bit stiffer boots than my previous flex 5 so I start looking for a new boots. I rented Nidecker boots when I snowboarding in Zao Onsen early this year in Japan and had great experience during whole time. It’s kind hard recall which model boots I rented but I watched couple YouTube review and all ppl said Altai is comfort. I know 9.5 kind fit me since this is the same size I had during rental. I expected It will be a little bit tight than my rental boots since it new but it just totally perfect in the first time I wear it. I will highly recommend this amazing comfort boot.

Excellent boot. Firm, but responsive and comfortable. The dual BOA is excellent. Fit my EE feet in my size, which is nice. Ride all day with these.

They fit perfectly, delivery was fast. I’ll hit the slopes this weekend and test them out.

Love these boots! I am still relatively beginner at snowboarding but have been looking for stiffer boots that can hold my heel down. WOW what a difference these make from softer boots!!! My turns are much easier and these boots are much more responsive! I could not recommend enough, even if youre still learning

Great boot for the price. I used to ride the burton Imperial, this boot feels almost identical plus you get boa for a price that is significantly less than what burton charges. I would say it runs middle of the road on width. Mid stiff flex is accurate. Enough support for the big jump line but enough flex to play.

As a beginner who has a 4 hour drive to the closest resort, I was looking for something quality but affordable. This boot was comfortable and durable enough to take my beginner�s falls all day. These work fine with the Supermatic step-in bindings.

Well constructed, seem durable and after a few days of riding they broke in well. I like the stiffness, very responsive with edge control. Happy with this purchase.

Solid boots, I've ridden a half-dozen different days in them and am so far pretty pleased. The dual-BOA is nice for dialing in your fit (pun intended). They are a nice amount of stiffness to be responsive but still comfortable for long wear. Only critique is that they seem to run a little small, as I ordered my regular shoe size and my toes are pretty cramped. I think if I were a half size up, they'd be perfect.

I'm a snowboard instructor and these boots have been great for all riding styles. They fit my feet nicely, the double boa is accommodating for a high high-top of my foot and I can imagine they would be a good fit for most people.

These mid stiff boots are exactly what i needed to improve my riding and start getting more precise. I love that they're Dual Boa for an easy entry and secure fit. Also, visually they are the prettiest women's boot :p Really enjoying my Altai W Boots!

Great product. Not too stiff, not too soft- just as mentioned "mid soft". Must be ordered one size up than the usual shoe size. very comfortable and keeps your feet warm. I definitely recommend these boots.

Boots for one season!
1) very soft, do not match the declared hardness (is not 7/10) maximum stiffness= 5/10!!!
2) very weak materials, threads, seams (The threads were torn, the seams came apart, the leather was frayed. see attached photos)
3) Boots increased in size after 3 months of use once or twice a week (in small mountains 120 meters high)
?o summarize: not reliable, poor quality. The quality does not match the sports equipment. Mountains are places of increased danger and equipment must be of proper quality!!! A person�s life can depend on the quality of equipment!

Great boots. I have a wider foot. Straight out of the box these boots are comfortable. They match up perfectly with my supermatic bindings

I was a little reluctant ordering online and not trying on, but these are very comfortable and very supportive boots. I needed a boot that worked with the Supermatic bindings, as they tore my other boots apart. These are great so far, but I haven�t really put them to the test. All good so far!

Got mine today, and as already written, fits out of the box and super comfy, feels like walking on clouds. Next step is in the snow on coming weekend, and then supermatic, when its available in XL, maybe in a cool grey color ? thanks nidecker:-)

Great boot, took a few hours to break in but now I can ride for hours in them. I am a ski/board patroller, and spend lots of time in them, I really enjoy them.
They are easier to get in and out of than my old boots.

By the the most comfortable snowboard boots I have had right out of the box and after they were heat molded they were perfect. The response of the boot is also great with lots of options for adjustably.

The boots are very comfortable and warm.

Mentioned flex rate is mid stiff but is very stiff boots. Actually I am looking for the real mid-stiff boots using for teaching my lessons. But this is really not a mid-stiff.

Ordered these boots and I was super excited. They look good and seem like good quality but they definitely fit on the smaller side. I usually wear size 38.5/39 shoes and got these in size 39.5 which is pretty tight! Seems too tight even considering them loosening up. Perhaps I need the men�s boots for my foot shape or try a size up? I will see what I�ll do about it.. just fyi so try ordering a size up.
Hope I get this all sorted before the season starts!

Flex parfait et look sympa

My most comfortable boots by a mile. But unfortunately the quality doesn't seem very good. The boa did break on my second run. Nidecker shipped me spare parts free of charge, so I fixed it myself. Very good customer service! But now the outer coating on one of the boots are falling off. Hopefully it will just be cosmetic. But this is only after 6 or 7 days in the slopes. Maybe I was unlucky with my right side boot, since that is the one with my problems.Fits the supermatic bindings perfectly, and thats why I bought them.

The shoe is great overall, if anything i5 would be nice to have a guard up by the toe side of the shoe. I like to carry the snowboard with my other foot whenever i�m on the lift to decrease the weight on my other foot

Granted, I had the same pair of Burton lace up boots for the last 15 years, they were the only pair I ever rode in. So any upgrade would be a good one. That is not to discredit the Altai boots, they are incredibly comfortable, snug for narrow feet, and supportive for all day all mountain riding. Love love love them!
