If they are clear of snow, they are smooth and ease entry into the Supermatics
When clear of snow they are smooth and ease entry into the Supermatics. However, in real cold, for example, minus 20 centigrade, the snow from the boot will stick to them and reduce ease of entry. The footbed for the original Supermatics maintains its slippy smoothness better.
