Flow NX2 2026

Having owned Flow bindings before & I love this new model.
Responsive, feels robust when riding hard – & of course the simplicity of Flow step in bindings.
Also, I bought directly from Nidecker website & the responsiveness & delivery time was excellent.

I had issues similar to those described by Jeroen (see post titled "Possibilities to adjust" further below), i.e. having to wiggle my boots in to get the back over the heels of my boots.

I was already considering shaving some of the rubber off the heels when I read about the back being adjustable.

For those interested, I've attached a photo of the screws that you can loosen and slide up by about 1 cm, giving more space for your heels.

Apart from that, they're awesome bindings!

Disappointed with the binding.
Buy them for carving, in the toe side turn my heel of my boots lift from binding. On soft condition is not than bad but once hardpack or do some flat tricks problem is worse and binding become unstable. Heel side turn is fine. Need always to overtight to minimise the problem. so less confortable on long run. Best baseplate and disc design for fitting with board and both side clearance. Highback is very good too. Not too stiff not too soft.

I've owned the Flow Alphas since high school and really wanted a newer set since I've grown a bit since.

Let me just say when these bindings are working they are great. Very Stiff, very responsive and they look great. BUT after about my third day out, my front highback basically snapped in half. Brand new. I have since ordered a set of the GT highbacks but seems like they are limited in stock so everyone might not have the same fix as me. (new replacement highbacks are aluminum). This is also the second time I have lost the food pad inside the binding, A big reason i love the Flow design is because its super easy to strap in on the lift, but I don't want to chase my footpad down the mountain when I do so. frustrated with some design quality but the bindings themselves are awesome, Would give 5 stars but I have my gripes. hopefully this reaches the right people :).

Best binding on the market

I finished using it today for seven days straight. I previously owned an Nx2-GT Hybrid model from about 10 years ago. I didn't feel any difference in riding feeling between the fuse model and the hybrid model. The binding is much lighter (which I really liked), but unfortunately some parts are made with cheaper plastic than the previous model, so i don't think it will last as many years. The frame is still metal though, and that's what matters most. The flow system remains a guarantee of quality and speed in hooking up.

Great all-round bindings, fusion strap is solid, comfy and responsive, very easy in/out, easy to use with gloves on, solid construction, 90% less sitting down time. Can't recommend enough. Set and forget!

I really love the hybrid bindings! They allow more flexibility and forgiveness in how much give the strap tension allows. Also the boot pad is smooth and really helps to make getting my boot in and out of the binding much easier. Love the blue flame color blend!

These bindings change the game with snowboarding. I�ve just gotten home from my first time with these and love everything about them. It took about 10 minutes to adjust them before locking them in place. I personally found I needed them a click looser than what I was used to with strap ins but once you find the correct fit, they�re very comfortable and feel more stable by covering more of the boot. Incredibly responsive and I found they encourage proper body positioning. Also love that the base never gathers snow with the smooth bottom. Very easy to get in and out of with barely any learning curve.

I got the new hybrid NX2 and they are my favorite pair yet! The new ankle strap is the best yet. This binging is amazingly responsive and has been great in pow, off piste, groomers, and park. Fits the Kita boot like a glove. I�ve had nx2�s and carbon nx2�s for years and this version is the best yet!

These are fantastic, best bit of gear I've purchased.
It takes the crappy part of strapping in away, and for a fat man, that is a life saver. Buy these!

I bought these bc my original flow bindings for women were not giving me enough stiffness. Since Flow doesn't make the stiffer version for women, I chose the men version. As a female, with size 6 5 and 5'1" at 117lb, the medium fits just fine.

These are definitely stiffer bindings and my riding has improved so much more. I feel much more secured and one with the board. The energy transfer from the movement to the board has very little loss. This translates to quicker reaction time bc you're more one with the board.

If you feel like you're stuck on advancing in ride ability, you probably need better bindings and these are probably what you need.

This is my second pair of flow binding that are still great after 14 seasons. Wanted an update & these probably will end up 5 stars if they last like my old M11�s. Nice feature upgrades @ boot exit. Nice paint job. Can�t rate feel & durability or the new & different �honeycomb� boot strap. As I haven�t hit the mountain on them. Purchased a L & wear a 10.5 men�s boot. All mountain riding. Carving groomers, powder bowls, some glades

I only use Flow bindings on all of my quiver and two are NX2's. The NX2's are lighter than the NX2 carbons and not quite as stiff. I have been boarding for 22+ years and have used the top of the line bindings from Rome, Union and Burton and go back to the Flow bindings. I love the stiffness for carving and tree steep boarding. I have a pair of the Hybrids and they do require a little more adjustments on the toe straps after entry.

I've used first gen flows (second hand) and after a couple of years I decided to support the company and get my friends and I to get a few pairs,.

They're great bindings and easy to get in and get out once you're used to it. Feels responsible and nails park and the high speed chase I like to do.

I do have a concern where a couple times I eat a nasty fall and the release for the bindings actually came undone, resulting in my board flying out from me. Luckily I was near the bottom of the slope so I didn't have to chase after my board but a board string might be something to consider for myself in the future.

Great binding well made. I have been using the stormtrooper binding :100: better. I use a size 12 boot and had trouble getting my heel in with snow build up. Now I don�t have that problem. The pads that my boots sit on absorb the impact making it comfortable for hard riding. I�ve been riding Flows for about 5 years. I have another setup on my other board. Great product.

I love everything about these bindings except that the top buckle on both bindings constantly resize when I am transporting the board in any fashion, and occasionally even when riding a chairlift. The small black tab made to lock it in never holds.
Other than that these are amazing. I rode over 30 days this winter and used them in everything from foot deep powder to windblown spring melted ice. An amazing all round binding that I would suggest to any all mountain rider.

Literally changes the experience of snowboarding! Now I know what it feels like to be a smug skier waiting for their snowboard buddies. No more time wasted strapping in or sitting in the snow.

I am happy with the bindings I have bought. The retractable back is very useful and time efficient. I have used them for 6 intense days in the Les Deux Alpes on mostly Blue slopes, as well as on Red slopes, although, for fewer rides.

I also used them during a snowy, windy and forsty day. I had minimal issues with locking & unlocking them.

The L size goes well with my 42 boots.
Adjustments are easely made and rarely require to be checked.
I had no problems with their fit.

Hoping these would make snowboarding a little easier for my kid. wrong, when you slide your foot in through the back, your heel will be standing on the highback preventing you from lifting it into place. The only way to avoid this, is to undo the straps, making it looser and allowing you to slide your foot in more. This defeats the purpose of the rear entry, and it ends up it taking a little more effort rather than a little less. I tried the bindings myself and had the same problem. Refuse to give them one star because only A-holes give one star ratings

Nice binding

Awesome bindings. However, even though I have received the package in good condition, one of the bindings bottom plate had a glue defect. I sent an email to customers service and still waiting for an answer 8 days later. Powder days are almost done!!! I would love to take em for a spin before the end of the winter!
